Jacqe has built her 13-year career developing, innovating, and growing the world’s biggest beauty brands. Her knowledge and expertise in marketing, sales, finance, supply chain management, and customer development was honed from the day she entered Unilever Philippines’ management trainee program in June 2005, sparking a nine year-long career with the multinational company.
In October 2013, she developed the whole market entry strategy for Happy Skin and launched it in the Philippines. Happy Skin positioned itself as a skin-caring, cult-favorite makeup brand that’s effortless to use. The brand now enjoys over 30 beauty product awards from major glossies. It was also Ayala Malls’ Most Promising Retailer for 2015 & 2016 and Watsons’ Most Promising New Cosmetic Brand for 2015 and Watson’s People Choice awardee for 2016. Happy Skin currently owns 90 counters and has been hailed as one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in the country today.
In September 2017, Jacqe spearheaded another makeup line called BLK cosmetics. BLK is positioned to offer a simplified makeup routine with no-frills, quality cosmetics that’s good for any and every occasion. The pared down beauty line is versatile, simple, and wearable while still delivering beautiful results. The brand currently have 30 counters inside Watson’s nationwide.
